HeatTag is much more than a fire or smoke detector. It analyzes suspended gases and particles inside the switchboard and detects invisible yet hazardous transformations of cable insulators, such as PVC, XLPE, EPR, typically between 170°C and 200°C.

HeatTag applies a smart algorithm to sort internal cable issues from overheating, and sends an alarm via email or SMS, enabling the switchboard digital management.

Why use a cable overheating sensor?

We’re taking fire prevention to the next level with a revolutionary new sensor unique to the market, which allows building operators to anticipate and act to prevent an electrical fire. Through AI algorithms, the new sensor continuously analyzes the air inside the panel in real time to detect any cable overheating. When an anomaly is detected, a notification is instantaneously received by the facility manager, giving enough time to act, before smoke appears or an electrical fire starts.
