Accelerating Industry 4.0 Transformation Journey (Industrial Robotics)
On 12 October, SMF/SIAA/OPC Hub ASEAN organized a webinar; Accelerating Industry 4.0 Transformation Journey (Industrial Robotics), where industry experts provide recommendations on how to prepare for the future of Smart Manufacturing, including insights from relevant case studies on various approaches and technological breakthroughs across a wide variety of sectors and applications. The webinar lasted for about an hour and ended with a panel Q&A session discussing the principles of Industry 4.0.
During the webinar session – Smart Manufacturing 4.0 Journey and Strategy; Colin Koh, Senior Manager of LKH Precicon provided deep insights on how businesses can develop Smart Manufacturing 4.0 using a series of different tools and frameworks, and at the same time, advise on the right approach for businesses to transit from Industry 3.0 to the current Industry 4.0 era. He also added that it is now easier than before for SMEs to take advantage of these new tools which are previously only available to big corporations and market leaders around the world and Singapore.
As we are steering through the 4th Industrial Revolution (also known as Industry 4.0), it is important for industry players to adapt and upgrade continuously.
